Having trouble sleeping!

free pic bath

Hi there everyone!!!

Recently I have been asked a lot about how to help people get some sleep!!  Seems to be a real problem these days with all the electronics and long work days, People cannot seem to shut off the brain or they get so overtired they cannot get to sleep.

With that being said, I myself get situational insomnia and hate it when it happens. So, what do I do?  Well, I do one of 2 things: 1) I either place one of my favorite sleep oils on my pillow (Cedar Leaf or my Zonked sleep blend) and inhale it all night long or 2) if I am out of these oils, I take a good bath before bed!! (using salts with some lavender added)

Below I will give you a great way to use the oils in a bath so that you can either get some rest or use to wake up in the morning if you are a slow mover (like I am)

Gather these ingredients and give it a shot  :O)

Let’s Get Some Sleep bubble bath

3 drops Cedarwood

5 drops Lavender

3 drops Patchouli

1 drop Vetiver

4oz castile soap

What to do next:

Start running your bath

Place all drops of essential oils into the castile soap

After placing all drops and stirring essential oils into soap slowly pour soap into the bath with water still running.

When reached the desired amount of bath water stop water and climb in.

May want to have soft music playing and candles for lighting to calm the nerves

When the bath is over dry off and climb into bed.

Some variations of this can also be:

Wake me up am bath: 7 drops Orange essential oil,  4 drops Lemon and 3 drops Lime essential oil.

Not feeling well bath: 7 drops Eucalyptus essential oil, 4 drops Peppermint and 2 drops Tea Tree essential oil

Always remember to add the essential oils to a carrier such as a bath salt or castile soap.
